Once you’ve collected and sealed your sample, it’s important to return it correctly so it reaches our lab in good condition and can be processed quickly.
Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Make Sure Your Sample Is Properly Packaged
Before sending your sample:
Freeze the ice brick overnight.
Check that your sample bag is securely sealed and clearly labelled.
Place the sealed sample bag into the return packaging provided in your Kit.
Add your completed Information Sheet and the frozen ice brick to the return packaging.
Seal the package securely – it’s now ready to send.
Step 2: Choose How Your Sample Will Be Returned
Option 1: R150 Courier Fee at Checkout
The R150 charged at checkout ONLY includes Kit delivery to you. You are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of returning your sample to us.
- You’ll receive the Kit via courier.
- Collect your sample and package your Kit correctly
- You’re responsible for arranging and paying for the return courier.
- Overnight courier is best.
- Only send samples between Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
- Avoid sending before public holidays when couriers may not operate.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your sample is viable when it arrives at the lab
Option 2: R250 Courier Fee at Checkout
The R250 charged includes Kit delivery to you and ONE return collection.
WE NEED AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE TO ARRANGE COLLECTION
- You’ll receive the Kit via courier.
- Collect your sample and package your Kit correctly.
- Once you’re ready, use the “Return My Test Kit” link on our website to confirm your collection date.
- Collections are available Monday to Wednesday only to ensure samples arrive before the weekend.
- Keep public holidays in mind as couriers might not operate then.
Option 3: Free Delivery and One Return for Orders over R3500
The complimentary courier service includes Kit delivery to you and ONE return collection.
WE NEED AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE TO ARRANGE COLLECTION
- You’ll receive the Kit via courier.
- Collect your sample and package your Kit correctly.
- Once you’re ready, use the “Return My Test Kit” link on our website to confirm your collection date.
- Collections are available Monday to Wednesday only to ensure samples arrive before the weekend.
- Keep public holidays in mind as couriers might not operate then.
Step 3: Confirm or Send Your Kit
Depending on the option you selected:
If returning yourself → Drop off at the lab or courier on Mondays-Wednesdays.
Drop offs by prior arrangement only.
If we’re collecting → Confirm your preferred date via the website link.
Once we’ve received your sample, we’ll confirm delivery to the lab and begin processing right away.
