Sheep, Goats and Cattle – Which Test is right for you?

Not sure which test your animal companion needs?
This simple guide helps you choose the right test for your animal, so you can treat accurately, prevent resistance, and keep your animals healthy year-round.

Tests Available

Faecal Egg Count (FEC)

This test detects Strongyle-type worms, Nematodirus, Whipworm, and Ascarids.
Test every 4–6 weeks, before and after dosing, or if you see scouring or poor weight gain.
It helps you track worm burdens and avoid over-treating your herd or flock.

Fluke Test

Fluke can cause bottle jaw, scouring, and poor milk yield – even in animals that appear well-fed.
Our Fluke Test identifies Liver Fluke, Giant Liver Fluke, Rumen Fluke, and Blood Fluke.
It’s especially important for stock grazing on wet or low-lying land, or following a wet winter.

Coccidia Test

Lambs, kids, and calves are particularly vulnerable to coccidiosis, which spreads rapidly in damp, crowded conditions.
If your young animals are scouring or failing to thrive, this test confirms whether coccidia are to blame.

Lungworm Test

Persistent coughing, rapid breathing, or sudden respiratory illness in grazing animals can point to lungworm.
The Lungworm Test confirms infection early, allowing you to treat and adjust your grazing strategy before the whole group is affected.
